# Claude Power Pack

> Claude Power Pack is a free, open-source, one-command installer for a complete Claude Code setup: 94 skills, 9 plugins, working rules (CLAUDE.md), tuned settings, 2 MCP servers and a guide to 14 claude.ai connectors and 15 desktop extensions. Open the folder in Claude Code and say "install this", or run `bash install.sh --tools`.

Key facts:

- Free and open source. The pack's own code is MIT licensed; third-party skills keep their own licences (MIT, Apache-2.0, ISC), listed in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md.
- 94 skills: 35 web research and browsers, 23 design and frontend, 13 Cloudflare and web platform, 6 animation, 5 working smarter, 4 AI image and video, 3 video editing, 3 marketing and writing, 2 security and SEO. Plus 9 optional extras with `--extras`.
- 9 plugins: superpowers, andrej-karpathy-skills, figma, firebase, brag, design, marketing, brand-voice, legal.
- Settings: Opus model, high effort, workflows on. MCP servers: playwright and chrome-devtools (no keys needed).
- Install: `git clone https://github.com/mppyxx/claude-power-pack ~/claude-power-pack`, then open the folder in Claude Code and say "install this" (Claude follows CLAUDE.md), or run `bash install.sh --tools` yourself. `--dry-run` shows every change first.
- Safe to re-run: backs up settings.json, CLAUDE.md and a list of existing skills to `~/.claude-power-pack-backup/<date-time>/` first, and never overwrites the user's own skills, settings or rules unless `--force` is passed.
- Works with Claude Max; Claude Pro works too but hits usage limits sooner. Some tools need paid accounts: Higgsfield credits, Ahrefs, DaVinci Resolve Studio.
- macOS is the main target. Linux works for skills, rules, settings, plugins and MCP servers. Windows is untested; WSL may work.
- Updates itself: once a day, in the background, it checks the GitHub repo and updates only the pack's own skills and rules the user hasn't changed (fingerprint check), then Claude mentions what changed. `bash ~/.claude/power-pack/auto-update.sh off` turns it off.
- Logins (connectors, API keys, CLI sign-ins) are done by the user by hand; the installer never asks for a password or key.
- Independent community project by mppyxx. Not affiliated with Anthropic.
